Welcoming this year’s High Performance Academy students and Sports Scholars to Solent University.
We'd like to welcome this year’s High Performance Academy students and Sports Scholars to Solent University. The 28 undergraduate and postgraduate students are studying everything from sports studies to visual communication.
Solent was one of the first four institutions to have gained Talented Athlete Scholarship Scheme (TASS) accreditation. The scheme recognises an institution's commitment to supporting student-athletes, and aims to help students reach their potential both academically and in their sport.
James Grant, Academy Manager, said, “It’s a privilege to continue our work with this year’s cohort of talented athletes from a variety of sports. Now that we have our full TASS Dual Career Accreditation, we can continue to focus on assisting all athletes on their pathways of sporting excellence and academic achievement”.
