Meet the professionals: a networking event you can't miss

Solent University’s annual ‘Meet the Professionals’ event is back and it promises to be bigger and better than ever before.

 Taking place on Monday 30 January, from 6.30pm, this year will feature not only public relations, but also marketing and advertising professionals from the South of England. 

 The event is a great opportunity for students to learn about the industry from professionals who have worked in it, and for the professionals to scope out new and upcoming talent.

 This chance to network is vital for increasing student’s options not only while they are at Solent, but also once they graduate. It's also an outstanding opportunity for professionals to catch up with in-house staff, agency and independent contractor colleagues in Hampshire over drinks and food.

 This event is open to all professional communicators – you do not have to be a CIPR Member to attend. You are also welcome to bring pull-up stands or other information about your work.

 The event will be taking place in our new Spark building, offering a bright and creative environment for networking, asking questions and creating new contacts.

 Professionals are encouraged to arrive at 6pm with a 6:30pm start, and refreshments will be available throughout the evening.
