Lecturer featured in The Book
The work of Jochen Braun, lecturer in fashion photography, has been featured in Style and the Family Tunes – The Book, which was launched on Wednesday 9 September in Berlin.

The book displays the best photographs previously displayed within 130 issues of Berlin-based magazine Style and the Family Tunes, which blended fashion, art and subculture.
Being included in the magazine was a big achievement for photographers, meaning their work was showcased to an eclectic and fashion-savvy audience.
As a freelance contributor to the magazine, some of Braun’s photographs from 2002 and 2003 have been included within the book, which also features diverse work by a number of German and international photographers.
For those interested in studying fashion photography, Braun advises: “Engage with the industry to get a better idea of how it works; either with an internship or work experience.”
“It’s really important to have an interest in both fashion and visuals, too.”
Style and the Family Tunes – the Book will soon be available in the library.
