Solent University is celebrating after being ranked among the top 30 universities in the UK for academic support, learning community and student voice in the National Student Survey 2019.

Solent University is celebrating after being ranked among the top 30 universities in the UK for academic support, learning community and student voice in the National Student Survey (2019 results published today, Wednesday 3 July). 

The University also scored above the sector average in six of the nine survey areas and received an above-benchmark overall satisfaction score of 82%. 

Vice-Chancellor Professor Graham Baldwin, said: “I am thrilled to report that we have scored above the sector average for learning opportunities, assessment and feedback, academic support, learning resources, learning community and student voice.  

This is testament to the great work that goes on across the University, as well as the fantastic partnerships we have in place with the local community and key stakeholders. The University prides itself on offering an excellent student experience, and it is so rewarding to see that this is reflected in the results of the survey.” 

 86% of final-year students at Solent completed the survey, recording the University’s highest response rate in the National Student Survey.
