Solent prepares for match day with Southampton FC

Solent University is proud to be the official university partner of Southampton FC, working with the club to deliver activities for students, staff and local community. As part of this ongoing partnership, we are delighted to announce that we will be the official match-day sponsor of the Southampton Chelsea match on Sunday 7 October 2018.

The day will be packed full of exciting opportunities for fans attending the game. This year, we are building upon the match-day activities that we are delivering. Watch out for our giant deckchair outside of the stadium – grab a photo and have it displayed on the big screen during half time. One lucky winner will picked at random to win a signed piece of merchandise.

You can also take part in our keepie uppie challenge – get the best score of the day and win your very own piece of signed Southampton FC merchandise!

Other activities will include a relay race between Solent students and alumni, which will take place around the length of the pitch during half time. Course Leader for Applied Human Nutrition, Dr Ali Hill, will also be on hand to talk with families about healthy eating and nutrition with her sugar wheel of fortune.

We are very excited to be delivering such a wide variety of events at the match, and can’t wait to see you there.
