Solent alumni Cameron Tait, who studied TV and Video Production, and graduated in 2021 with First-Class Honours, has gone on to land a job as a video producer for Premier League football club, Watford FC.

Cameron (pictured) goes on to explain how his time at Solent gave him lots of hands on experience, which has proven invaluable in his current role: “As well as having access to industry level equipment, I learnt a lot from my tutor about piecing together documentaries, and how to bring stories out of people that are interesting.”

Senior Lecturer in TV Production, Kate O'Driscoll, said: "I am delighted for Cameron and know he will be an excellent addition to Watford FC's media team. Whilst studying on the TV Production course, he took full advantage of the opportunities available both within the curriculum and through our large network of external contacts. Our course provides a real-world learning environment for the students, an element of which is the experience of working on live client briefs. These opportunities enhance their CV's and gives them a crucial head-start when they start applying for jobs in the industry."
