Guitar enthusiasts wanted
More spaces are available for guitar entusiasts to learn new skills and help a high-tech research project at Southampton Solent University.
Our recent research project helping guitarists to improve their skills has been so popular, we’re opening it up again to allow even more people to take part.
So if you want to contribute to a high-tech research project here at Southampton Solent University, while at the same time improving your guitar skills, get in touch.
The deadline for applications is 4pm on Friday 19 August 2016.
Participants will be given a £20 Amazon voucher as a thank you gesture in return for taking part in six solo 20-minute sessions during August.
This is a great opportunity for musicians to become researchers and to help shape how people will learn to play the guitar in the future
“We do not necessarily need accomplished guitarists, we just want to hear from anyone of any playing ability who might want to learn quickly how to play better. We will even be providing the guitar!” says Martin Day, from the Research and Innovation office at Solent.
