As part of Solent’s continuing commitment to social justice and economic prosperity, we are pleased to announce the implementation of pay increases for our contract service partner employees, in line with those received this year by directly employed University staff.

With increased funding from Solent, our three main contract service partners will make the uplift in wages to their staff working across the Solent campuses, effective from 1 September 2017, with over 150 employees benefiting as a result.

Andrea Thompson, Chief People Officer, said: “Delivering an excellent people experience for everyone working or studying at Solent remains a key strategic priority for us, and I am pleased that we continue to take steps to acknowledge the valuable contribution our contracted staff make through a variety of roles across the University.”
