Biography

Julian has a range of hands on industry-based skills in video production: post-production, video editing and designing motion graphics, having previously worked a freelance. He has been instrumental in bringing digital technologies into the University, creating courses and units that engage students in the possibilities of combining sound and image with digital storytelling.

His research has focused on the use of transmedia and he has created work that has featured internationally, with a recent project selected for Sheffield Documentary Festival. He is currently completing a Phd in this area.

    Julian is an accredited Avid Media Composer trainer. and is Adobe certified associate in Premiere Pro.
  2. Industry experience

    Embracing digital technologies in video post-production, Julian has worked for a number of years as a freelance motion graphics and video editor, working on broadcast and corporate communication projects for blue chip clients, satellite television and interactive media.
