Molly is a lecturer in health and exercise nutrition, lecturing on the Practical Skills in Human Nutrition module as well as on the Nutrition for Health and Exercise module.
She is an Associate Registered Nutritionist with the Association of Nutrition and a registered Sports and Exercise Nutritionist.
Molly completed an undergraduate degree in Nutrition in 2018 at Oxford Brookes University. After competing in sport at university, Molly was drawn to the area of sport nutrition and the large impact that nutrition has on sporting performance. Since then, Molly went on to gain a MSc in Sport Nutrition at Liverpool John Moores University in 2020. She is also an ISAK Level 1 accredited anthropometrist, UKAD anti-doping adviser, and peer support facilitator for Diabetes UK.
Outside of work, Molly enjoys participating in sport and challenging herself with fitness goals. This is usually in the form of running, cycling and hiking – a duathlon is next on the cards.
Molly has worked as a performance nutritionist since 2019. She began her career in sports nutrition working in professional women's football. Since then, she has worked with academy footballers, GB athletes and the general population. Currently, Molly is a consultant for a League One academy football team.
She also runs her own consultancy educating and advising individuals on how to utilise nutrition to improve sporting performance and aid growth and development, as well as reach body composition goals.
In her previous role as a performance nutritionist, Molly has taught and delivered education surrounding nutrition to the general population, athletes, and multi-disciplinary staff members. This has included small group workshops, one-to-ones, and larger presentations, both in person and virtually.
Molly has several areas of interest, including anthropometric data of the female athlete, the energy requirements of the female athlete, and the interaction that playing position has on energy needs of the female footballer.
