Course overview

Solent's MSc Financial Management will help you develop and enhance your understanding of the important role finance plays in business. You'll learn how finance is used within public and private organisations to be able to make strategic financial management decisions.

The course will help you appreciate how to analyse and interpret financial data using ratios and investment appraisal techniques; and critically evaluate the relevance and practice of theories of financial planning, monitoring and control to support a range of financial management decisions.

Finance is the enabler to all modern business and recent history has shown the importance of managing finances effectively to ensure security and future growth. This master's degree can lead into a myriad of careers and pathways - whether you see yourself in leadership and senior management, or in financial markets.
