Biography

Rebecca joined Solent University in September 2015, after teaching for several years at the University of Westminster in London, where she also did her PhD. Before that, she undertook her LLB and LLM degrees at the London School of Economics and Political Science.

Teaching experience

Rebecca has worked for Solent University as a unit leader, lecturer; seminar leader and acting course leader. University of Westminster as a seminar leader, and at University of Essex as a lecturer.

Research interests

Rebecca's research interests cover a range of multidisciplinary areas/issues relating to public health/HIV/AIDS and the right to health. She also conducts research on learning and teaching pedagogy, including the use of personal response systems (PRSs) in the learning space.

Work in progress

Rebecca is currently working on the impact of lecture capture use on learning and teaching and the student experience.
