Biography
Maher is a lecturer in business management at Solent University, with a passion for innovative pedagogies and the capacity to create and deliver new and highly contemporary modules in enterprise, entrepreneurship, and innovation. Has completed a PhD in Intrapreneurship and technology innovation and a one-year IET-accredited MSc in Engineering Management (Distinction), and a BSc in Technology Engineering with major in Communication Engineering.
Maher has professional experience and a career built in major multinational vendors and world-leading companies in the ICT industry, with more than 12 years of extensive international and continuous experience. He has worked in different engineering, technological and leadership roles for Ericsson AB and France Telecom.

Maher has worked for Ericsson - the world-leading vendor for GSM products and end-to-end telecom technology solutions - taking on many technical and managerial roles throughout the 11 years of progressive and extensive experience along with complex and emerging technologies in the mobile core network.
These roles include project lead, team lead, solution architect, core network integration engineer, first and second-line support engineer, operation and maintenance engineer, network planning and design, network rollout, and start-up.
Maher has expertise in the design, integration, and delivery of Ericsson Solutions for GSM networks with proven ability to adapt and succeed in a very diverse range of cultural and business environments, running many projects in many countries around the world.
